We operate Camp Riley with support from the Riley Children’s Foundation and host a number of other recreation therapy summer camps with our partner organizations. Our goal is to give each of our campers a unique experience involving our fully accessible facilities and therapeutic programming, including canoeing, waterskiing, SCUBA diving, swimming, archery, basketball, arts and crafts, music, high and low ropes courses, and a variety of experiential-based initiatives. To make all of this happen, we hire nearly 80 staff each summer to work directly with the campers and maintain ratios for their safety and supervision.

Additionally, our program aims to help campers improve life skills, develop social connections, boost self-confidence and self esteem, improve psycho-social skills, and increase independence. All programming includes a full assessment, written goals, and evaluation of progress.
