Groups We Serve

Bradford Woods takes great pride in our amazing partnerships. By joining forces with the Indiana Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Wounded Warrior Project, Department of Child Services and the Indiana National Guard, we are able to serve hundreds of veterans, military families and youth at-risk every year.

Our programming is designed to support each group’s medical, social, physical and emotional needs. We aim to provide engaging and empowering experiences to enhance our participant’s quality of life.

Family Battle Buddies

In conjunction with the Indiana Department of Veteran’s Affairs – TANF Grant Services Program, we are able to provide Family Battle Buddies Weekend Retreats for our Indiana veterans and their families. The Family Battle Buddies Weekend Retreat aims to enhance resiliency through family to family support during shared meaningful recreation. Check out a recent IU video about the program:

Project Odyssey

With its name derived from Homer’s epic poem about overcoming adversity and finding the way home, Project Odyssey helps you overcome combat stress through outdoor, rehabilitative retreats that encourage a connection with nature, your peers, Project Odyssey staff, and trained counselors.

Project Wolf

With inspiration from the R. Kipling quote, “For the strength of the pack is in the wolf…and the strength of the wolf is the pack,” The Department of Child Service and Bradford Woods have partnered to provide Project Wolf. This program is designed to meet the needs of youth and support building competencies within the family structure that will help them develop into responsible adults.  Over the course of 20 weeks, youth and their legal guardians meet weekly for sessions focused on a variety of pro-social topics focused on improving individually as well as in the family unit.
