Bradford Woods is Indiana University's Outdoor Center. As a key component of the university family, Bradford Woods seeks to promote and further the mission of the university through the teaching, service, programs, and research Bradford Woods provides. For over 50 years Bradford Woods has been providing recreational, educational, and leadership development opportunities to youth and adults locally, nationally, and globally.
Created by a gift of 2,300 acres from John Bradford to Indiana University in 1950, we have grown into an international leader in experientially based outdoor education and summer camp programming. View our timeline or a brief video to learn more about how we've changed over the years.
