  Summer Camps

We are host to many groups throughout the summer, and are well known as the best residential camping facility in the Midwest available to youth with disabilities. Many of these are sponsored by Riley Children’s Foundation. One such program is the award-winning week long Camp Kan Du, which is designed for youth whose cognitive level is assessed between 0 to 48 months. Camp About Face, sponsored by the Craniofacial Clinic and Riley Children’s Foundation, is a week-long camp for children with craniofacial anomalies. Camp About Face is attended by youth from all over the nation. These are just a sample of the camps we currently offer for youth with disabilities and their families!

We also provide an environmental education multiple-day experience each summer for Monroe County Community School Corporation’s Adventure Camp Program. Children enjoy our 2,500 acres of Indiana woodlands while learning about their environment and the flora and fauna that inhabit it. Canoeing, archery, and swimming are a few of the other fun activities children take part in.

Businesses, high schools, universities, Greek organizations, churches and many others participate in Bradford Woods summer camp programs. Whether discussing positive team attributes, or leadership fundamentals, groups and individuals leave our challenge education programs with new perspectives and ideas about interpersonal interaction and communication. Our highly trained staff have facilitated learning and growth experiences for Indiana University, Franklin College, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and many other organizations.
