Summer Staff

Every year, Bradford Woods hires summer staff for our nationally-acclaimed camps for children and adults with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses. In partnership with Riley Children’s Foundation and other non-profit agencies serving youth, we offer campers a traditional summer camp experience in an outdoor setting. A variety of 12-week, paid positions (including cabin staff, lifeguards, leadership team, and program staff)  are available and employment runs from late May to early August. For a full listing of job opportunities and information on how to apply, visit the Summer Camp Positions page.

Volunteering

Additionally, Bradford Woods accepts volunteers on a long-term or short-term basis. Volunteers can work with our campers for the entire summer, or just come for a week or two. For more information, contact Lisa Elder, CTRS at 765-342-2915 x5213 or lrelder@indiana.edu.

Recreation Therapy Internships

Bradford Woods offers a Recreation Therapy internship experience that meets NCTRC guidelines. In 2015, internships will run for 17 weeks, beginning in May and ending in September. Interns will have an opportunity to work with all facets of recreation therapy summer camp programs, and will also work with weekend camps, adventure therapy programs, and learn the logistics of working as a recreation therapist.
