Overnight
Programming
Through our three centers, we offer a number of multi-day, overnight program opportunities. We can collaborate with your organization
to build programs and events that will leave a lasting impression on your
students, staff, or participants. Utilize our magnificent 2,500 acres of
pristine woodland or allow our staff to lead or facilitate your group’s
experience at another convenient location. Bradford Woods staff are known
nationally and internationally for their elevated level of training and
knowledge. They can lead program components ranging from team awareness and
adventure recreation to environmental education modules such as wildlife and
wetland studies.

Our Environmental Resource Center has provided hands-on experiences that
encourage students to learn in and about the outdoors for over forty years.
Our goal is to increase each participant’s knowledge of environmental
processes and relationships as wells as awareness of historical and
cultural influences. We offer customized curriculum-based environmental
education multiple day, overnight programming for students in grades K-12.
Participants study everything from rocks to raptors, wildlife to wild edibles.
All Bradford Woods environmental education programs meet Indiana State Education Standards.

Through our Camping and Retreats Center, we offer weekend, one week, and
two week programs and events for children with special health care needs and
their families. These programs have been fulfilling the recreational and
therapeutic requirements of both children and adults with disabilities and
chronic illnesses for over forty years. A few of the current programs include
Camp Riley for children with physical disabilities (1-2 week summer sessions),
Camp Little Red Door for children with cancer and their siblings (1 week summer
session), Tourette’s Family Weekend (held each fall) and Riley Family Weekend
(held each spring). All of our programs and services focus on meeting the
individual needs of participants. Our low staff-to-participant ratios promote
engagement and empowerment and, of course, FUN! More info...
