Activities

canoes

Bradford Woods has 2,500 acres of pristine land, including a 110-acre lake, swimming pool, climbing tower, archery range, and more than 10 miles of hiking trails for our guests to enjoy. Guests may use our hiking maps for a self-guided nature walk and enjoy other land-based activities, but other activities involving Bradford Woods’ waterfront and challenge areas need to be arranged with your event coordinator prior to your visit. Guided Hikes

Bradford Woods has professional outdoor instructors on-hand, ready to teach your group about the ecology, nature, or history of the area. Rate: $5 per person, 10-person minimum.

Swimming (with Bradford Woods lifeguard)

Swimming is available either in the lake or in the pool (the pool is typically open May-August). A lifeguard must be present. Rate: $5 per person, 10-person minimum.

Archery

Bradford Woods’ staff will provide bows, arrows, and instruction on their use on at our archery range. Rate: $5 per person, 10-person minimum.

Canoeing

Enjoy the 140-acre lake. A Bradford Woods staff member and lifeguard will be on-hand to assist you. Rate: $10 per person, 10-person minimum.

Pontoon Boat Rides

Tour the lake without the work. Generally, 10-12 people can fit on a pontoon boat. Rate: $50 per hour, per boat.

Fishing

The lake is full of largemouth bass, carp, crappie, sunfish, bluegill, and catfish. Rate: $5 per person (self-guided, please contact event coordinator for details).

Climbing Tower

The Climbing Tower is often operated as part of team-building initiatives, but can also be rented for recreation purposes. Bradford Woods staff will be on-hand to supervise its use and belay participants. Rate: $15 per person, 10-person minimum (zipline is an additional $5 per person).

Alpine Tower

The Alpine Tower is often operated as part of team-building initiatives, but can also be rented for recreation purposes. Bradford Woods staff will be on-hand to supervise its use and belay participants. Rate: $20 per person, 10-person minimum.
